Summer Employment Opportunity

The William Henry Steeves House Museum is looking for a Tour Guide/Researcher for the 2013 season. Duties include: giving tours of the building, explaining the history of the Hillsborough area, conducting research, entering research into a database. The successful candidate must be available for Canada Day, the evening of July 15th and 20th. Spoken French is an asset.

Pay is $11/hour, 40 hours/week, for a total of 8 weeks (beginning July 2nd at the latest)

United Way Day Of Caring

Building vegetable beds in the school courtyard has been approved as a Day Of Caring Project. It will be held on June 7th and there will be approximately 20 workers here at the school that day from noon until 4 pm. Foods of the Fundy Valley will provide lunch for the workers. Caledonia Open Gyms

SoccerDon't forget about the open gym nights held weekly at our school. Tuesday night is community soccer night for girls in grades 8 through 12 - as well as interested ladies from the community!. Destination Imagination

Four Caledonia students will compete April 13th in the Destination Imagination Contest. Their project is entitled "Operation Language Friendly". They used QR codes and a website to create English tutorial videos for two international students currently attending Caledonia from Japan. Check out their project at Edith Cavel on the 13th.
